If you like music – and c'mon, who doesn't – you’re gonna like this one. Coming to you from Colombia, the Macondo Chamber Players! The MCP stands at the forefront of an exciting new generation in classical music. Founded in 2012 by violinist Jose Romero and pianist Carlos Vargas, they bring together established and emerging artists from Latin America and the world to perform chamber music, teach young people, and encourage international understanding. How cool is that?
Their site actually has many audio and video clips of them playing – we highly recommend you take a peek. Galleries and bios on all of the players can be found, right next to an area where you can donate to this awesome non-profit. We also highly recommend you do that.
