When it comes to building a website to showcase your artwork, Squarespace is a clear frontrunner. Marketed to artists as a DIY website platform, Squarespace is well-suited to displaying any type of artwork in its beautiful gallery layouts and templates that appear custom made for artists.
When California painter Chris Rodeno wanted to build a website for his colorful paintings, he knew Squarespace would fit the bill. Not wanting to spend hours figuring out how to build his own website, Chris turned to the talented team of Squarespace designers and developers at Fix8 Media to get the job done. Impressed by our extensive portfolio of Squarespace artist websites, Chris engaged the Fix8 team to build him a fun and engaging Squarespace site to showcase his work.
Starting in the Squrespace Brine template, Fix8 Media’s Squarespace web designers used an awesome video of Chris in action to open the home page. Scrolling down, visitors get a peek into the artist’s work and are encouraged to view all of his paintings. Anchored by an Instagram feed, the home page is clean and eye-catching. The site is rounded out by an About page to learn more about the artist and his inspiration, a gallery of work, a Squarespace contact form, and a blog.
Simple and colorful, Chris’s new Squarespace artist website showcases the artist’s paintings while giving visitors a glimpse into the man behind the paintbrush.
In living color,
