Working with nonprofit organizations has always proven a rewarding experience for Fix8 Media website designers and developers in Longmont, Colorado. The boutique web design agency has had the pleasure of working with so many incredible organizations — from those who help underprivileged youth to those raising money to find cures for disease to those endeavoring to protect our precious planet. For the compassionate team at Fix8 Media, contributing to these causes through their creativity and strategic efforts to build impactful, professional websites is extremely fulfilling.
“There is such passion in the work our nonprofit clients do,” says Josh Neimark, Creative Director of Fix8 Media website design and development in Longmont, Colorado. “It’s an honor to help give them the voice they need online to truly make a difference.”
This year, in an effort to give back and show its gratitude to the many companies that entrust their online presence to the agency, Fix8 Media has selected one nonprofit client to support via free Squarespace website updates, strategic support, and technical support: Challenge America.
A Colorado-based nonprofit, Challenge America’s mission is to connect service members, veterans, and their families to resources and solutions that build community and give purpose to their lives. Their work has touched lives through such programs as music therapy retreats that help veterans cope with PTSD, a Military Sisterhood Initiative that creates a national peer support network for women in the military, and the CAMVETS program that brings together designers, developers, and engineers to address the specific needs of an injured veteran.
“Since we first built their Squarespace website in 2016, Fix8 Media has watched Challenge America grow each year, developing new programs and initiatives to help more and more veterans, service members, and their families,” says Neimark. “By donating a block of hours each month to help Challenge America tell these stories most effectively on its website, we hope that in some small way we can be part of the incredible work they do to help others.”
Giving back has always been important to Fix8 Media. In 2016, for example, Fix8 Media gave away a free Squarespace website build to Debbie’s Treasure Chest in Lawrence, Massachusetts, a nonprofit public charity that helps at-risk children through cash and in-kind donations. Following the launch of the new Squarespace website, the organization won its first grant: $100,000.00 from the Cummings Foundations of Massachusetts.
“We are convinced that our new website is one of the reasons that we were the recipients of [the] $100,000.00 grant,” said Linda Harvey of Debbie’s Treasure Chest. “We are forever grateful to Fix8 Media for helping us achieve our goals of helping children and families at risk.”
Through its volunteer support of Challenge America over the next year, Fix8 Media hopes to make an equally effective impact on the organization—helping to spread the word of the incredible work Challenge America does for veterans, military service members, and their families.
