The flagship journal of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, the Denver Law Review found a partner in Longmont-based Fix8 Media website designers and developers. Looking for a new online home for their law blog, the group located an ideal fit in both Squarespace and the Fix8 Media website design and development team.
Starting in the Squarespace Avenue template, Fix8 Media’s talented website designers structured this law blog for maximum ease of use and navigation. Keeping within the Sturm College of Law brand colors and fonts, the Fix8 Media web team crafted a simple home page that gets right to the heart of the site, featuring a search bar front and center for visitors to find exactly what they are looking for. Since the journal publishes articles in all areas of law, it was important to feature this search capability prominently on the new Squarespace website.
The new Denver Law Review Squarespace website includes pages about the group and how to get involved, its Emerging Scholar Award, a print archive, a forum, and information about the group’s Symposia, including a schedule of events and a link out to register.
The real benefit of building the new Denver Law Review website in the Squarespace platform was empowering the group’s leaders to easily maintain and update the journal with new articles. Following a personal training with Fix8 Media, an authorized Squarespace trainer, the Denver Law Review team is now able to take the reins on its website and make all necessary posts and updates on their own. This is just one of the many benefits afforded by the ever-evolving Squarespace platform, putting powerful website tools in the hands of the end user.
Gavels up,
Fix8 Media
