Back in 2015, Longmont, Colorado-based Squarespace website design experts Fix8 Media built a beautiful website for Traver Construction in Dallas, Texas, showcasing the design-build firm’s exquisite remodeling work. With any successful business, growth and expansion led to the need for a website redesign to accurately reflect the company’s current offerings and expanded portfolio.
“We’re fortunate to build relationships with our clients that keeps them coming back to us for work down the road,” says Fix8 Media creative director Josh Neimark, a 20-year veteran in the web design field who has led the Fix8 team in building more than 750 websites in the Squarespace platform. “Following a number of years in business, clients who achieve the growth and diversification they work so hard for find that a website redesign is the appropriate next step in their journey—and Fix8 is always there to lend a hand in taking things to the next level.”
This was the case with Traver Construction, who requested a redesign of its Squarespace website about four years after the original launch. As a start, Fix8 migrated the firm from the Squarespace Forte template to the Squarespace Mojave template. The client wanted to give site visitors a number of options for navigating through their portfolio, whether by project or specific rooms. Once in a room, the visitor is given the option to see more images of that particular project, enabling a more interactive experience.
Another new feature added during the redesign is a custom timeline on the Process page, which presents the Traver remodeling experience in a series of steps that expand on click. The Squarespace customization added dimension to the website and provides further engagement for the user while being fully optimized for mobile.
It’s not uncommon for businesses to outgrow an existing website as their companies grow—and Fix8 Media’s talented team of Squarespace website designers is always ready to help bring those websites to the next level.
Shoot for the stars,
