Visual Communications Firm Finds a New Online Home in Squarespace

Here at Fix8 Media, we’re always so grateful when a client recommends us to a colleague or friend in need of a new website. In the case of CM Productions, owner Carrie Martinez contacted us at the suggestion of her husband, Joe. After working with Fix8 Media’s Squarespace designers and developers on a Squarespace website for his financial planning business, Joe urged his wife to contact us for her redesign. We couldn’t have been more thrilled!

A Dallas-based woman-owned visual content agency, CM Productions needed a website that engaged potential clients with its dynamic work. Storytellers at their core, CM Productions strives through video content creation to “change hearts and minds.” So it was with that mission in mind that Fix8 Media’s Squarespace designers crafted the company’s new website.

Built in the Squarespace Pedro template, the site features a dynamic home page with motion video background in the banner area leading to the agency’s work page. Potential clients are immediately directed to video examples of CM Productions’ work—allowing the creative product to take center stage in a Squarespace gallery format. An embedded video on the About Us page tells the company’s story visually beside the text version and fast facts. This format gives visitors multiple points of entry to learn about the company using whatever format with which they most readily engage. The page is anchored by a rotating slideshow of behind the scenes images of the team at work—out in the field, networking, and, most important, having fun!
