At Fix8 Media, our Squarespace website designers and developers are fortunate to work with a myriad of talented artists and designers in a variety of disciplines.
Creator of the famed Santa Rosa Labyrinth, Lea Goode-Harris, PhD, recently launched a new Squarespace website featuring her labyrinth development and creation services. Labyrinths are ancient archetypal symbols based on patterns in nature. They are special spaces in which one can be mindful, de-stress, and find inspiration. Lea wanted to make these art spaces available to a wider audience, launching her new Squarespace website to promote her labyrinth design and building services to corporations, contractors, museums, schools, hospitals, individuals, and more.
Executed in the Squarespace Margot template, the website opens with a rotating banner slideshow featuring some of Lea’s gorgeous labyrinths. Scrolling down, visitors find inspirational quotes from the designer and links to popular areas of the site. A feed of blog posts anchors the home page. Deeper in the site, a portfolio segmented by category (hospitals, museums, churches, etc.) enables the visitor to see the wide application of these art spaces in society. Taking advantage of the SEO benefit afforded by frequent and relevant blogging, Lea puts her Squarespace blog to good use, sharing stories behind the creation of various labyrinths.
If you’ve never before seen a labyrinth, you must check out the incredible work of Lea Goode-Harris to appreciate the singular beauty these unique art spaces afford.
Stopping to smell the roses,
