So when the opportunity presents itself to design a new website for a creative agency, we get pretty excited about the idea exchange that is sure to ensue!

That was the case with Image Brew, a Denver-based video production company that hired us to redesign their current website in Squarespace. Our Squarespace designers and developers were pumped to work with the creative firm’s content, showcasing the superpower behind Squarespace’s ability to feature video in a captivating way.

Selecting the Squarespace Mercer template in large part because of its built-in flexibility, Fix8 Media’s Squarespace designers created an in-your-face home page that features motion video background in the banner and a series of animated GIFs as you scroll. The experience is visually rich and indicative of the studio’s diverse clientele. A Who We Serve navigation drop down addresses each audience segment individually, ensuring potential clients quickly and easily find what they are looking for. Individual director’s bios in the Our Team section of the site enable interested parties to learn more about the various directors who comprise Image Brew, helping them to narrow down a selection that is the best fit for their needs.

Having produced more than 750 videos since opening, Image Brew has quite a few stories to tell—and the firm does so on its new site via a Squarespace blog titled “Case Studies.” Individual posts are tagged by target audience, enabling them to funnel onto the corresponding “Who We Serve” pages. The Image Brew Squarespace site exemplifies the use of Squarespace Summary Blocks to feed relevant content from one area of the site onto related pages.

In addition to shooting and producing incredible short form video, the Denver video production company rents out its studio and equipment to area creatives, as well as hosts events for the local community, including a monthly comedy night at the studio.
