For the visual artist, conveying emotion through a still image is one of the hardest and most detail oriented things that can be done. Pairing just the right amount of color, light, and shadow, and having them tell a story is exactly what husband and wife team Farzana and Shaker do with their images. Their company, Limewall, is a boutique fine art photography store that strives to capture the beauty of the world through elements and nature. The two love to travel, and find inspiration in getting lost in the sea of new faces, cultures, cuisines, and landscapes. Their images capture parts of Western Europe, Eastern Caribbean and the Pacific Northwest. They literally were passengers in various modes of transportation while crafting some of these compositions, from cogwheel train on the world's steepest railway track up-top Mount Pilatus in Switzerland, to hop-on hop-off double decker bus in the busy streets of Paris, to canal boat in the Venice of the North. They are intrigued as to how a piece of art changes the energy and feel of a space, how it has the ability to transport one momentarily to places and how it can extract a range of emotions from different viewers. Limewall is about defining your space, giving it the character you envision for it, or just simply letting it be a natural projection of who you are. We think you’ll dig their work.
